Exclusive Interview with the Producers & Directors:
1. What made you choose to work on In-between:
|
2.What was one of your favorite production Memories?
Brianna : One of my favorite production memories would most likely be Scene One because that was the scene I directed. It was a lot of fun, yet a lot of work and having a vision in my head and actually being able to convey this onto a screen was amazing. I loved every moment of producing this Pilot episode. Although I did not direct all of the scenes, we all had a great time working together to make something we were all proud of. Anthony: The last day of shooting, it was the smoothest day of the entire shoot. Mainly due to that, by that time everyone had his or her roles and positions down. Amaris: One of my favorite production memories happened during one of our first shoots at Cosi. Fletch, our DP was so adamant about getting a shot that one moment we caught him outside on the ground capturing the scene with his camera. James: My favorite production memory is when we played games with part of the cast while they waited in between their scenes. It helped as grow more as a crew, as well as learn more about the actors. Lauren: Long days. The feeling of being delirious after a 12 hour shoot but also knowing that you just accomplished something great, especially on our last day. Another favorite moment was my crew and I took turns sitting outside holding a light to keep it still in the cold. Yasmine: Working on this set I was able to experience and learn alot from my group. My favorite memory was having the chance to get to know my crew and laugh together. There were moments when it would get stressful but then we always had the chance to remember that we are all working hard and the outcome will be great, we just have to relax and get it done. We always made each other laugh and that was my favorite memory. 4. Do you have a favorite character? If so, who? Brianna: Ellie!!! I can definitely relate the character on a personally level. Knowing what it feels like to be an outcast resonates with me. I think Ellie has a lot of potential to grow and figure out who she really is. Anthony: Joy, without a doubt! I prefer the villains. Amaris: My favorite character is the realtor played by Donna Boston. Donna played such a minor part but had a major impact on our cast and crew. She was the most pleasant and sincere person to work with it. James: My favorite character is Jackie. She sees the pain Ellie’s experienced in her life and made it her personal responsibility to ensure that Ellie feels loved. I resonated with Jackie because she wants Ellie to be safe, but every time she tries to stop her, it just pushes Ellie even further away. Lauren: Joy is my favorite character. Yasmine: My favorite character is Joy. She has such a strong personality, yet she's timid and shy. She has so many emotions she was/is dealing with and she was able to express those just from this pilot. She is a strong character and she stays that way the entire pilot. You can really relate to her and what she was going through during her times here on earth. 5. What was your Favorite role on Set? (Continued) Amaris: My favorite role on set was as Assistant Director. I got to bond and entertain the cast while they waited for their turn in a scene. I also got to tell people when to cut a scene short and call the shots. James: My favorite role was to direct. I loved describing to the actors how I see the scene happening and then watching it come to life right in front of me. Lauren: Directing and using my strong arms to hold the boom! Yasmine: Since I was in charge of makeup that would have to be my favorite role. I enjoyed spending that one on one time with the characters and help put them in character through their makeup. |
